Apprenticeship Programs

The Oregon State Association of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors (ORPHCC) is the program administrator for the Mid-Valley Sheet Metal Workers and Mid-Valley Steamfitters/Pipefitters apprenticeship programs.  For questions or an application packet contact Julie Fleck, the Apprenticeship Coordinator at 503-557-1203 or by E-mail Julie@orphcc.com.

Our Mid-Valley apprenticeship programs are thriving apprenticeships with nearly 3 dozen registered Training Agents based in cities such as, Scio, Corvallis, Brownsville, Salem, Stayton, and Lincoln City to name a few, or Benton, Linn, Lincoln, Marion & Polk counties.

What is an apprenticeship?  Apprenticeships are occupational training programs that combine supervised on-the-job training (OJT) experience with classroom instruction, usually taking only 4 years to complete.  This is a career opportunity where men, veterans, women, and minorities are encouraged to apply!

How do I become an apprentice?  Of course you must meet minimum qualifications, but get started by submitting a completed application and registration agreement. An apprentice is usually a full-time employee who is learning while earning, don’t delay!  Get on our List of Eligible Applicants TODAY!  Contact Julie Fleck, the Apprenticeship Coordinator at 503-557-1203 or by E-mail Julie@orphcc.com.
